The varsity boys wrestling team finished in 1st Place at the Kilted Klassic hosted by Marengo Highland on Saturday. The Battling Bees edged the host Fighting Scots by half a point to bring home the title from the 19-team invitational. Cliff Nicholson (285), Tyler Bradshaw (132), Taegan Gilmore (126), and Dominic DiFilippo (113) were all crowned champions for Medina. Cooper Kaplack and Cooper Lavender both finished in 3rd place, while Michael Kessler (4th), Kingston McDowell (5th), and Jack Storm (5th) also scored for the Bees. Josh White (7th) and Ali Muhammadi (8th) also placed.
