The varsity boys volleyball team defeated Euclid on Thursday evening to clinch at least a share of the Greater Cleveland Conference title. The Battling Bees swept the Panthers with scores of 25-11, 25-14, 25-22. Brayden Howells returned to the lineup and finished with 25 assists, 3 kills, and 7 digs. Trent Balicki had 22 digs and 6 aces, while Oliver Singer added 11 kills, 7 aces, and 8 digs. Ashton Knowles contributed with 6 kills and 4 digs.
Medina improves to 15-4 overall and 9-0 in the GCC. The boys will look to win the league title outright on Monday when they travel to Brunswick to face the Blue Devils.
