The varsity girls lacrosse team clinched at least a share of another GCC title on Thursday night with a 15-3 victory over Brunswick. Audrey Thompson scored a game-high 4 goals for the Bees, while Maddie Dawson, Paige Armstrong, and Abby Dress each added 2 goals and one assist apiece. A stellar defensive effort by Molly Gilbert, Addy Shook, Emma Koehler, Kayla Stevens, and goalie Gia Rohde was crucial early in the game.
Medina improves to 7-6 overall and 4-0 in the GCC. The girls clinched at least a share of its 10th straight GCC trophy and will look to win it outright for the last time next week when they take on Shaker Heights.
