The varsity football team defeated Stow-Munroe Falls 46-40 in overtime on Friday night. Cooper Sokolowski had a night to remember by scoring 5 touchdowns along with 137 yards on 8 receptions and 53 yards on 9 carries. He also had the game-winner in overtime with a 2-yard TD run that gave the Battling Bees their first win of the season. Kaden Patrick finished 19-for-33 for 245 yards and 4 TD passes while also running 12 times for 49 yards. Bishop Burch had 5 catches for 69 yards.

Medina improves to 1-3 overall and 1-0 in the Suburban League National Conference. The team will be back in action on Friday night when they welcome the Highland Hornets to Ken Dukes Stadium for a Battle of the 44256.
