Medina dropped to 1-2 overall (1-1 GCC) with a 61-34 loss to Mentor last night. Mentor is now 2-1 (2-0 GCC) and used a big points in the paint advantage and a 15-0 run in the 2nd quarter to separate from the Bees.


Medina's Molly Gilbert scored 10 of her team-high 12 points in the 3rd quarter to go along with 5 rebounds & 2 blocks. Abby Dress posted 9 points while Gillian Kurka added 5 and Vivian Kelps scored 4.


The Bees won the JV game behind the play of Kinley Miller, Olivia Miller and Emily Parker.


Medina will host Shaker Heights on Friday night.
