Medina (6-6, 4-3) picked up a win on Wednesday night at Euclid thanks to a defensive effort that caused 30 turnovers and moving the ball around for 18 assists. Vivian Kelps scored a career-high 18 points and Molly Gilbert posted 19 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals. Abby Dress added 8 assists, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 points while Emma Carlson (5) and Emily Fischer (6) provided scoring off the bench.
JV-A also defeated Euclid to open the night, led by Avery Rodgers, Brooklyn Scott, Emma Koehler and Gabi Lavolpa.
Medina will host Lorain on Saturday night. Middle School teams will be recognized at halftime of the JV-A game and Senior Night announcements will take place prior to Varsity tip off.
