The varsity gymnastics team captured 1st Place on Wednesday night by defeating Magnificat and North Royalton in a tri-meet. The Bees (133.35) outscored the host Blue Streaks (127.2) and Bears (83.9) in a statement win. Senior Hailey Hofmann finished in 1st place in the all-around and uneven parallel bars. She also finished in 2nd place on the balance beam and 3rd place on the vault and floor exercise. Medina had 4 of the top 6 gymnasts in the all-around. Sophomore Bethany Hofmann finished in 4th, Brianna DeBow was 5th, and Caitlyn Oehlers came in 6th place. Anna Schork was the runner-up on the bars and finished in 4th on the beam. The younger Hofmann was 2nd on the floor and tied for 3rd on the bars.
