Medina (7-8) battled Toledo Start to the end in Game #2 at Classic in the Country. The Bees jumped out to a fast start, leading 17-9 after the first quarter behind 13 points from Abby Dress. The Spartans took over in the second quarter to set up a closely-contested 2nd Half between the teams.

Medina ultimately fell short but received great play from Dress (14 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block), Addy Shook (11 points, 4 assists, 1 block) and Vivian Kelps (11 points).

The Bees will return to conference play and travel to Shaker Heights in their next game.
