Medina (9-9, 7-5) defeated Cleveland Heights by a score of 53-32 on Wednesday for Lady Bees Youth Night. The Bees started off slowly and trailed the Tigers well into the second quarter before warming up. The team relied on stingy defense led by Vivian Kelps and team rebounding. Addy Shook led the team with 17 points while Molly Gilbert added 11 points & 11 rebounds. Kinley Miller contributed 13 rebounds, 6 points, 4 steals while Abby Dress added 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists. Emily Fischer also played well with 6 points and Bri Kudley chipped in 2 points.

Medina travels to a special showcase event on Saturday, Jan. 31 as they face Holy Name at the 28.5 Ohio Classic at Big Walnut High School near Columbus.
