The varsity boys bowling team finished in 2nd Place at the OHSAA Division I Sectional at Spins Bowl in Akron on Friday. The Bees also earned one of the 4 team berths in the District Tournament at Rebman Recreation in Lorain next weekend. Jimmy Green led the team with a 585 series (178-207-200) to finish 11th overall individually. The team also got solid series from Mathew Paffumi (572, 184-196-192), Justin Rehner (534, 194-150-190), and Brayden Phillipp (517, 177-169-171), while Shane Rodriguez rolled a 204 game. As a team, the Bees shot 1,110 in its 6 Baker games (185 average), including games of 240, 206, and 197.

Medina advances to the OHSAA Division I District Tournament next Sunday in Lorain with a trip to the State Tournament on the line.
