The varsity boys volleyball team defeated Independence in 4 sets on Friday night. The Battling Bees dropped the first set 25-23, but would win the next three by scores of 25-19, 25-17, 25-14. Oliver Singer hammered 24 kills to lead the team. Brayden Howells had 37 assists, while Trent Balicki posted 19 digs and 14 aces. Ashton Knowles added 9 kills, while freshmen Noah Prifti (3 kills) and Izayah Crawford (2 kills, 2 blocks) had impactful performances.

Medina improves to 5-1 overall on the season.
