The varsity softball team opened up the regular season on Sunday morning at the KSA Events Spring Training in Clermont, Florida with a 12-0 victory over Shipley (PA). Ryann Allar was a double shy of the cycle with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored. Hannah Neal had 2 hits including a double and 2 RBIs, while Katie Rubino added a hit and an RBI. Lily Cassidy hit a triple and Olivia Hendrickson had a double. Freshman Brooke Housum pitched a two-hitter with 8 strikeouts.
