The girls flag football team picked up a pair of wins on Sunday at Sandusky High School. The Bees won a Medina County battle with Black River that ended in a 32-14 victory. Medina would then go on to defeat Elyria Catholic 30-12. Gabi Lavolpa finished with 5 combined touchdowns on the day. Norah Shumar and Haylie Perdue both returned interceptions for touchdowns to help pull away from the Pirates. Courtney Snow capped the first game with a long touchdown run in the final seconds.

Medina improves to 3-2 in the Northern Ohio Orange Division. The Bees will be back in action on April 12th when they take on the Cloverleaf Colts at noon in Sandusky.
