Both varsity track & field teams defeated Cleveland Heights in a Greater Cleveland Conference matchup on Wednesday afternoon at Ken Dukes Stadium.
Roland Jackson swept the throws with a 46-11 and 117-7 for the Bees. Other winners were Jackson Riffle (100, 11.3), Adam Gabel (200, 23.51), Nate Fischer (400, 51.21), Jackson Warfe (1,600, 4:43.92), Zach Sohar (3,200, 10:17.52), Evan Colon (110 hurdles, 19.03), Bishop Burch (high jump, 6-1), Sydney Lloyd (long jump, 19-0), and Judah Carrell (pole vault, 10-6). The 4x100 (43.75) and 4x800 (9:16.57) relay teams also won.
Brooke Diello crossed first in the 100 (12.6), 200 (26.08), and 400 (1:01.69) and Delaney Wagner swept the throws at 24-10 and 65-1 for the Bees. Zulay Rebollar (800, 2:42.67), Alexis Warnement (1,600, 5:33.15), Macie Tighe (100 hurdles, 18.23), Anna Carpenter (high jump, 4-10), Brianna Debow (long jump, 15-2.5), and Kendall Perfect (pole vault, 10-0) also won. The 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 relay teams also were winners.
