Varsity Boys Volleyball falls to defending state champion Saint Ignatius

The varsity boys volleyball team fell to defending Division I state champion Saint Ignatius on Wednesday night. The Bees battled in the 1st set and trailed 18-16 before the Wildcats scored 5 points in a row to propel them to win 25-19. Medina would lose the next two sets 25-15 and 25-11. Oliver Singer finished with 7 kills, 2 assists, and 2 aces. Brayden Howells had 5 assists and 2 kills, while Ashton Knowles added 3 kills.

Medina falls to 11-2 overall on the season. The boys will be back in action on Thursday afternoon when they travel to Strongsville to take on the Mustangs at 5pm.
