The boys and girls track & field teams swept Strongsville as part of a rescheduled GCC dual meet on Monday. Mark Habjan led the Bees by winning the 100m dash and long jump. He also helped Joseph Fetty, Anthony Gamble, and Jacob Young on the 1st place 4x100 relay team. Also, winning were Jack Storm (200), Jack Smith (400), Carter Whitelaw (1,600), the 4x200 relay team (Fetty, Gamble, Storm, Nathan Barran), the 4x800 relay team (Ashton Scheetz, Kyle Dombrowski, Aiden Scheetz, Owen Gut), Aiden Gontarz (high jump), Owen Stepsis (pole vault), and Wyatt Fickett (discus).
Ari Schwemley captured the 400, long jump, and 300 hurdles, while also teaming up with Camille Porco, Andrea Harden, and Skyler Jacobs on the winning 4x400 relay team. Julia Black won the 800 and 1,600 races. Other winners included Talia Masternak (100 hurdles), Brianna DeBow (pole vault), the 4x100 relay team (Jacobs, Campbell Howington, Kori Swihart, Ieva Maslyyak), and the 4x200 relay team (Swihart, Maslyyak, Howington, Jacobs).
