The varsity softball team defeated Brunswick 5-4 on Monday afternoon. The win was extra special for this year's senior class as it was the first time they had defeated the Blue Devils on the varsity softball diamond. Center fielder Katie Rubino and right fielder Olivia Kish made incredible diving catches for the last two outs of the game to preserve the win. Hannah Neal went 3-for-4 on the day. Freshman Bailey McCoy had 3 singles, while freshman Brooke Housum added 2 singles and an RBI. Housum also earned the win in the circle by tossing a complete game.

Medina improves to 11-4 overall and 4-1 in the GCC.
