The varsity baseball team defeated North Ridgeville 9-0 on Wednesday afternoon. River Blomquist and Billy Jackson combined for a one-hitter to help lead the Battling Bees to victory. Blomquist allowed one hit and struck out 5 batters to go with two hits and 2 RBIs. Jackson fired 3 innings of no-hit relief and struck out 4 batters to go with a single, double, and an RBI. Luka Pagura had a pair of hits that included a triple and 2 RBIs, while Ethan Toerek added a hit and 2 RBIs. Max Lewis contributed with a pair of hits as well.
Medina improves to 20-4 overall on the season.
