The varsity girls soccer team defeated Stow-Munroe Falls 2-1 in their Suburban League opener on Wednesday night. The Bees turned a scoreless halftime into a National Conference victory. Naomi Sundermeier and Olivia Saksa found the back of the net for Medina.

Medina improves to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the SL National Conference. The girls will be back in action on Saturday night when they travel to the Mansfield area to take on the Ontario Warriors.
