The varsity girls volleyball team defeated Wadsworth in 5 sets on Tuesday night. They put the rest of the league on notice by defeating the 4-time reigning National Conference champion behind a spectacular defensive effort by senior Grace Tabaka and a big hitting performance by sophomore Kate Schellenberger. Tabaka finished with 27 digs, while Allie Fugarino had 19, and Schellenberger added 15 against the Grizzlies. Schellenberger had a match-high 23 kills, with Maddie Tucker and Kalea Tagalicod adding 6 apiece. Eva Myers had 21 assists, while Lauren Sherman finished with 16.
