The varsity boys soccer team defeated Jackson in dramatic fashion on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 victory. Iyan Copley scored the game-winning goal with 44 seconds remaining in the match. Copley's goal, which was assisted by Chase Wilbur, completed a wild comeback for the Battling Bees. Jackson Harvey had tied the game with just over 2 minutes left off a feed by Brandon Brentson. Elijah Heming gave the Bees a 1-0 lead on a pass from Harvey, but Jackson responded with the next two goals.

Medina improves to 8-2-1 overall on the season. The boys will be back in action on Tuesday night in a critical Suburban League National Conference matchup at Brecksville-Broadview Heights. Both teams are undefeated in league play and this contest will have serious implications on the final regular season standings.
