The varsity boys soccer team traveled to Columbus to play Olentangy on Thursday night. The Battling Bees fell to the Braves 1-0 at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, which is the home stadium for the Columbus Crew. Zach Coersmeyer (1), Elijah Scott (4), and Jannik Sanders (3) combined to make 8 saves for the Bees but it wasn't enough to keep Chase Thorne from scoring the lone goal of the match.

Medina falls to 9-3-1 overall on the season. The boys will be back in action on Saturday night when they welcome the Brunswick Blue Devils to town.
